Haiku Northwest Code of Conduct

Haiku Northwest is dedicated to providing a safe experience for everyone at our events and activities. We do not tolerate any harassment of event participants, venue staff, or guests. Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive verbal or written comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, marital status, ethnicity, race, or religion, as well as deliberate intimidation, physical or virtual stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Haiku Northwest reserves the right to require anyone not complying with these expectations to depart from any event at which they have engaged in any such activity, and to bar them from future online or in-person Haiku Northwest events.

Code of Conduct statement approved by the Haiku Northwest board of directors in March 2024.
