Katharine Grubb
Seattle, Washington
While still new to haiku, Katharine Grubb brings energy and spirit to the Haiku Northwest group. She was social media coordinator for the recent Haiku North America conference in Seattle. She is regional coordinator for the Washington region of the Haiku Society of America, and is also editor for the HSA Bulletin email announcements. Katharine is a Washington State native, growing up in Spokane, enjoying snow sports and clubs. She got her BA at Western Washington University in Bellingham. Katharine began writing haiku while working on boats in the Puget Sound. She loves the outdoors, animals, and yearns to live on an island in Puget Sound. While yet to have many haiku published, she is looking forward to learning about and writing more haiku in the future. You can follow Katharine on Twitter @grubbkr.
