Seabeck Haiku Getaway 2015 Registration Form
The 2015 Seabeck haiku retreat will again be for three full days (from Thursday night, October 1, to Sunday, October 4). See the 2015 retreat schedule. We’ve tried to keep the fee as bare-bones as possible (only a small raise in rates this year, after not raising our rates for a couple of years). It’s just $225 for three nights of accommodations, nine meals, and all retreat activities if you register by August 28, 2015 (or $259 after that postmark date). If you can’t come until Friday night, the rate is $185 (or $219 after August 28). For day visitors (pick your day or days, including lunch and dinner each day, but not breakfast), the fee is $60 per day (or $74 after August 28).
Accommodations are shared. Rooms are limited, so we encourage you to double-up if possible (we will pair you with a roommate unless you have your own roommate preference or request a private room). If you require a private room, fees are a minimum additional $40 per night if you stay for the entire conference (slightly higher per night if you stay for fewer nights). Please contact us about reduced rates for children (rates depend on age; free age two and under). We also have a spouse/partner rate (if your significant other would like to attend, but does not participate in the haiku activities). We’ll be staying in Huckleberry, Cedars, Firs, and Hemlock, with the Colman Center as our primary meeting room. In all, we trust that you will find our 2015 retreat to be even better than our previous ones, so please do sign up!
Registrations accepted from July 28, 2015 to September 25, 2015 (please do NOT register before July 28). Early registration discount ends August 28, postmark date (but please also email Angela Terry at amterry9@comcast.net to say your registration is coming, if you register close to or after August 28). Registration MAY be possible after September 25, especially for day visitors—please inquire.
Priority booking: We've booked about the same number of rooms this year. We don't expect to fill up, but in case we do, priority will be given to a) people attending the entire retreat, b) the date we receive your payment, and c) if necessary, people willing to share a room. Earlier registrations will be placed in buildings with private bathrooms, with overflow or later registrations placed in buildings with shared bathrooms. Please note that an increasing number of people are requesting private rooms, which reduces the total number of people we can accommodate, so please share if you can.
Cancellation policy: Reservations cancelled by August 28, 2015 are entitled to a full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. After this date, partial refunds will be given at the registrar's discretion, minus at least a $50 cancellation fee. You must email or phone us by August 28 to cancel your reservation. Note: It is possible that we may not be able to make any refunds after the cancellation date, but if we can, any refunds will be subject to at least a $50 cancellation fee.
Note: Your fee includes all the meals indicated. If you expect to miss any meals, such as Sunday lunch (if you might be leaving before lunch), please let us know so we can inform the kitchen. This will help reduce food waste.

Payments from Canada: We can deposit Canadian cheques. Please check the current exchange rate and determine how much money in Canadian dollars you have to pay to equal the U.S. amount due. Rates may fluctuate between the time you write your cheque and when we deposit it, but we will sort out any overpayment or underpayment at the retreat itself—please remind us, if necessary.
