A haiku student since 2017, Susan Lee Roberts has more recently ventured into haiga and has discovered a new level of fun in combining her art with haiku. She founded Montesano Haiku in 2023, hosts a weekly haiku study group, and attends several haiku critique groups. Her haiga have appeared in Contemporary Haibun Online, Daily Haiga, and Scarlet Dragonfly Journal; her haiku have appeared in Frogpond, Cold Moon Press, and in Song of the San Joaquin.
